Delete your Stego Bun account

Stego Bun is made by Lance N.

In the game (quickest): open Stego Bun, tap the gear at the top right, then Delete account. Confirm, and your account is deleted from our server straight away.

By email: if you can't open the game, email hello@stegobun.com from the address of the Google account linked to your Stego Bun (or tell us your in-game details), with the subject "Delete my account". We'll delete it within 30 days and confirm by email.

Delete your game but keep your account: in the game, tap the gear, then Start over. This erases Stego Bun and everything in your game from our server (finds, decorations, companions, pebbles, postcards and progress) and starts a new egg; your account (and its Google link, if any) stays. The record of past game actions is kept until you delete your account.

What's deleted when you delete your account: your account, Stego Bun and everything in your game (finds, decorations, companions, pebbles, postcards and progress), and the record of your game actions.

What's kept: nothing from your game. (Once pebble purchases exist, Google Play keeps its own purchase records, and we may keep a record of purchases where the law requires it.)
